First off I would like to excuse myself for the lack of posts. I’ve come to the realization that I start just about every single blog post with a similar message to that one, so I appoligize for that as well.
I started this blog with an acceptance to an all-girls boarding school in Massachusetts, and today I share with you the news of my next adventure: college! After the long, strenuous hours of looking for colleges, applying to colleges, nerve-racking interviews, and waiting for those darned acceptance letters I am pleased to announce that I’m in! I’m going to college and I could not be more excited.
Just a few days ago, I packed up my bags and drove down to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend North Carolina State University (from now on known as NC State or just simply State) and starting the four year journey towards a degree in Graphic Design. In an effort to broaden my horizons, I am also participating in the Global Village here at NC State. I don’t really know how to describe the Global Village really. For the most part, it just seems like a big group of people who share a common excitement for learning about the world. Being part of the Global Village also means that I am paired with a super awesome exchange student from Brazil. So, yeah. That seems to be about it right now.
To be completely honest, I don’t quite know what else to write on this blog. Not much has happened in this new chapter of my life so far. I’m still in the boring bit at the beginning where you meet the characters and describe the scenery. However, I will keep you updated as the story progresses and I get into the exciting bits where the plot begins to form, and you can tell that the story is actually going to be pretty interesting (hopefully my story will be interesting). So, I’ll leave you with that and the promise of another blog post displaying my oh-so-Pinterest dorm room.
I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful night, and for anyone reading this who is also starting the college chapter of their life, I wish you the best of luck.
Peace out, enjoy life, and live the adventure!
