Life Update: First month down

Wow. Look who has returned from the land of no blogging! Would you look at that! Its me.

I thought I would sit down and write this blog post to invite you guys into my college experience. All of my ups, downs, lefts, and rights. And I’m starting today. So, college has been a whirlwind of emotions thus far. So much has happened, that I don’t even know where to begin.

I’ve already been through my first Calculus 2 test (it actually didn’t crash and burn like I had originally thought it would), turning in my first English paper (which I’m feeling pretty confident on), and had my first real critique (which actually went very well, although I feel like our reviewers were very scared to hurt our feelings). I’ve also already gotten sick of dining hall food, chosen my favorite restuarant at Talley Student Union (Jason’s Deli) and found a favorite meal (Chicago Club). I’ve gotten an endless supply of NC State t-shirts (many of which were free), decked my laptop cover in NC State red stickers, have a NC State plastic cup for almost anything you can think of, and watched the bell tower glow red during Packapalooza.

Go Pack!

I guess you can say that life is going pretty well, and I would agree with you. Sure, there has been some home-sickness, some mountain-sickness, and some star-sickness, but there have also been days that I am so happy to be in Raleigh. I’ve worked hard to get here, and I’m working hard now that I’m here, and I know that everything will pay off in the end.

So, there’s a little blurb to tell you that yes, I’m still alive, and that I am really enjoying college even without all the drinking and partying that is usually associated with it. I’ve made some friends in my studio class, in my dorm, and in my classes as well as caught up with friends from high school. All is well, and I have more blog posts coming… I promise.

Well, I’m growing up guys. I am officially and finally feel like a college student. Its real, and I’m loving it!

I’ll catch up with you guys soon. In the mean time,

Peace out, enjoy life, and live the adventure! BOOM!
